Philippine Criminologists Association of the Philippines Region II recognized College of Criminal Justice Education at Cagayan State University Aparri as one among the top performing schools in Region 2 after its performance in the recently concluded Criminologist Licensure Examination, showing 65.88% institutional passing rate, relatively higher than the 48.27% national passing rate, last February.
The awarding of the Certificate of Recognition took place at Mamba Coliseum, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan during the oath taking ceremony of Newly Registered Criminologists on April 28, 2024.
In an online interview with Dr. Daryl Don Taguba, RCrim, the Dean of the College and the Vice Chancellor of Cagayan Chapter who received the award, he expressed his wholesome appreciation and happiness for this achievement the college had achieved.
“I am immensely grateful for this award as a symbol of commitment to excellence and discipline. I am extending my congratulations to all passers from CSUA-CCJE, and surely, we will not be able to achieve this without the excellent work of the examinees, now RCrims. In behalf of the CCJE, we are so proud for bringing good name to our college and campus as a whole,” he said.
The college made a step up from being the Top 4 last year to Top 2 this year.
